Self Assessment Tax Return

The deadline for filing self assessment tax returns on paper has now passed, if you submit one you will be fined £100.

However, you can register on the HMRC website here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/online/new.htm to submit your return online before midnight 31 January 2012.

If you have a bookkeeper or accountant they can submit the return online for you, but you have to register first.
